These were just what I had been looking for in the lamps for a guest bedroom: slender and tall, with green bases and 3-way switches. They arrived yesterday, 2 days earlier than expected. The lamps were well packaged and easy to put together. All I had to do was install the harps and shades, and screw in the bulbs. The only issue was that the lamps do not have 3-way switches, which are listed as a “Special Feature” in the item description. I put the lamps in the bedroom and gave myself a day to look at them and think about it. This evening, I requested a call from customer service, which came immediately. Esther listened as I explained that while the lamp switches are not as described, I did not want to return the lamps because I like them very much; they look really nice in this guest room. I was not disappointed in the lamps, only the switches. Esther put me on hold for several minutes to see what she could do for me, and then offered me a credit on the cost of the lamps. I was satisfied with that and pleased with the excellent customer service. She credited my credit card immediately and sent a confirmation email, making sure I had it while we were still on the phone. She also said she would contact the appropriate department about the listing. I will purchase a pair of 3-way switches as replacements.
