PerfectThis stuff really works! Prep is key. Wash your vehicle with a tough dish soap, followed by a clay bar, then use an isopropyl alcohol spray to really clean the clear coat. Once finished with all the prep, applying the NuFinish is the easiest part. Follow the instructions on the bottle; however, I do recommend staying out of direct sunlight if possible. Once complete and cured, you’ll be amazed at how smooth & slick the surface is. Check out the mirror-like shine and water-beading action. I’ll provide an update once I see how long this lasts. I plan to use a quick spray detailer between washes to help maintain the finish. It improves the appearance of things like scratches and was easy to apply. No white stuff left behind like when you do paste wax.It was, however, very difficult to take off. It leaves a sort of haze that I had trouble polishing off. Would be helpful to know if there was some way to prevent this. Would I use it again? Well, it's supposed to last 100 car washes, so I would consider it if keeps the car 'waxed' for several years. I don't think I'd wash more than once a month in a non-winter climate, so will this really last for 8 years? Overall, a pretty good product that improves the look of your car.Let's start with the microfiber towel. It soaks up the spray without leaving streaks, it's super soft and machine washable for when I am done so it does the job good. I have tried a lot of ceramic sprays on my husband's truck because he loves to make it shiny. We were excited to try Nu Finish as it's priced at a number we feel comfortable buying. To get this done professionally, it's like $400 or more. Overall, it was easy to use , we were able to tell what parts were done before moving on due to the shine. It's not the best product out there but it's a great start for someone looking to take care of their car.I feel like ceramic coating technology is quickly advancing, as I purchased a bottle of ceramic wax early last year that has a thick and heavy texture that if applied too heavily in one area (which was too easy to do) would cause a big headache buffing it all back off. Compared to that experience, I am that much more impressed with the Nu Finish ceramic coating spray. It goes on with a very light mist, so as long as you don't let it bond with the paint surface for more than 5 minutes it is very easy to wipe back off. The included microfiber towel was soft, so I was not concerned about leaving behind micro scratches, and did not leave behind any lint. My favorite use, however, of the ceramic coating spray was on my wheels. Of course be careful not to overspray it onto your brake pads, but creating a slick ceramic coating on my wheels makes it a cinch to wipe off brake dust every time I re-wash my car. Please reference my picture of my sparkling wheels from my 2014 Honda Accord. Great advance in ceramic coating technologyI am so happy with this product. I received a free bottle of this Nu Finish Better Than Wax Ceramic Coating & Microfiber Towel for an Honest Review. I have to say this product is well worth having. I have a F250, my truck has some scratches on it and the paint looks dull, but after washing my truck, I let it dry and than I sprayed the Wax on the truck and rubbed it in with my microfiber towel, my truck looks brand new and the paint looks amazing with a shine. The coating on it works amazing on my truck. Once putting it on, it says you don't have to do it again until a year from now. I can't wait to find out if it lasts that long, but right now it has lasted over 2 weeks and still looks good. When it rains the water beads up and doesn't leave any spots on my truck. I am glad I got this product to try and will be buying more of it as soon as I need to. Thanks again for letting me try this awesome product. It's well worth the money.Ceramic coating is more and more popular now, no doubt. My G got it done when it was something special. And it has been working finely, no doubt. 10 years old G and people still admire how shiny/water repellant it is.After 10 years I wanted to renew it (which I’m supposed to do annually?!). So, I expected something extra.Nothing is extra here. Same water repellent same shiny everything is the same. Oh well, whatever, it doesn’t get worse, then it works. However, what makes me upset is the instructions. Don’t listen to what it says. Period. Not just wipe and spread evenly and expect everything falls into place. I was native to do exactly likes it said and left with a full car with residue. After you spread it you have to wipe it and at least slightly buff it. What hurts to include it in the instruction?!My point is I trust Nu, I have been using it, other products, for years on my other vehicles. But with this item, I’m upset because the instruction should be clearer and stuffsPS: I know what I’m doing. So this is def not try and error to me. The problem is I do what instruction says. NahI would have to say that I like it allot. I cannot speak to how long the finish will last, but if I go by what the bottle states, it should be well over a year of not having to really do much of anything to the finish. I have noticed that when it rains, there is almost no dust or rain shaped dirt on the car where I used the product. It beads water super well, and shines fairly well, though not as well as I had expected it to.The part where they state that the dirt washes away and does not settle on the car is pretty much accurate and should save time and money on car washes. Applies pretty easily as well. You just spray it on sparingly, and use the micro cloth to spread and wipe dry. Much faster than waxing the car with a traditional paste. All in all totally satisfied with the benefits of the product.
