An easy way to check if your cookware should be compatible is to touch a magnet to the bottom of your cookware and see if it sticks and holds strongly to the bottom of the pan. Most magnetic stainless steel cookware and cast iron pans are compatible. With cast iron pans please be careful not to exceed the mat's heat resistance
