I put this on my 6 month old Gladiator attempting to preserve the plastic trim. My thoughts so far:1. Preparation seems to be the hardest part. Completely dry? In Florida in September? I can leave an empty cup outside and in 5 minutes it's full of water. Stuff appears out of nowhere here, it's a swamp. But after applying, I understand. MAKE SURE IT'S TOTALLY DRY.2. Gloves - please include a spare glove. Any guy trying to squeeze his hands into the provided will inevitably split at least one.3. Ease of application - very. Just rub it all over the trim. You'll know when it has run out.4. DO NOT do this over a dirty/dirt surface. You will drop the little wipes 1,000x's - and I'm not exaggerating. Over concrete? Pick it up and keep going.5. Coverage - I was able to cover the gladiator with 6 wipes. Once it cures I have 4 more to cover missed spots.6. Little packets the wipes come in - CUT THEM with scissors to separate from each other. Otherwise you risk opening two at once because the perforations aren't very good.I will update this post in several months once I see how the product holds up. From what I have seen on older cars it looks amazing. As a preventative on a new car? We'll see, I'm sure it will be great.Applied this on 2 vehicles. The wipes are not easy to use as they will slip out of your fingers with the gloves on and you have to get a feel of how far the wipe will spread so you are ready to break out quickly another one to continue. It's use time is limited. Can end up streaky depending on how it's applied. That's the bad part. The good part is once applied correctly it looks amazing. Use Prep All Grease and Wax Remover before using this product. Preparation like when painting is 95% of the work. This turned Black my roof rack which for 12 years I have never found anything that lasted past the first time it got wet. Jury is still out on how long this lasts but I will follow up with another review after 6 months to see how it holds up. First impression is it will do what it claims. Been detailing cars since 1967 so I'm no Rookie and I know what I am talking about.I decided to try this stuff because I repeatedly kept getting white “wax marks” on the black plastic trim on my brand new truck every time it went through the car wash or got waxed. I wanted something that would not only remove the white marks, but prevent them from reoccurring.These wipes worked like magic. Immediately removed/covered up all the wax marks. I will update the review in due time about the longevity, because we all know “minimum of 200 washes” is fake news.The reason I give 4 stars (initially, could change later) instead of 5 is because this stuff is catastrophic if you get even the slightest bit of it on the paint. Rubbing it off with a microfiber towel basically just spreads it around. It does not flash and buff off like typical ceramic coat products. It took about 5x longer to do all of my trim than it should have because I was wiping one tiny little drop of this stuff off every 3 minutes.Otherwise, I am very happy with the results and eager to see how it holds up.This stuff works great! The plastic on our 2017 Jeep was faded and "graying" some so we found this stuff from a Jeep forum. I tried it and have not been let down. They come in little packages as a wipe, it is important to follow the instructions and wear gloves (some supplied) because it's not good for your skin. I was able to get a whole fender done with one wipe ( 4 fenders = 4 wipes) and I used two wipes for the 4 doors (2 on each side) and I used one wipe for the two mirrors. I used one for the front bumper also.I previously tried a competitors product and it did not give me the same lasting results.This stuff has been on for a few months and there's no fading or anything. Good stuff!Amazing stuff!!! Love it!!! But...My detailer didn't apply it evenly in a few spots, so I reapplied the product on all of the trim, and it beaded up in spots where it was overapplied. I thought the beading would flatten out when it dried, but it didn't! So I contacted Cerakote and they said the only way to remove it is with a white magic eraser sponge, which you use dip in nonacetone nail polish remover!!! The problem is if a DROP of nail polish remover hits the paint I'm screwed. How the hell do I protect the paint from the nail polish remover? Because 'm not going to take that risk, I'm going to take it a paint shop where they tape off the paint, and remove the Cerakote. $$$$$ Need I say that's going to cost me a boatload of money?The product does what it states it will do, that is it protects the black vinyl trim on my car. My car is a 2021 Honda CRV. If you have seen the wheel well trim it is black vinyl and many smaller SUVs have the same look. I have seen some older model where the trim is almost grey from UV fading. I tried this product out a few weeks after it was purchased new. It is now over a year old and the trim still shines like new and I don't spend any special time on it, just hose off road dust.Used this on my Chevy PU and it went on well. I followed directions and cleaned with dawn soap and water prior, let dry over night.In the morning I coated all the black plastic trim. For a ten year old truck I was surprised how faded the trim was in places.Cerakote had to be second coated in a few places but over all it looks great!It being fall I wish I would have done this in spring for longevity.Well, we'll see what does to it .I am hoping for the best!I would recommend this product as it by far looks better than all the other products I've have used i the past!Not happy used on my front spoiler and looks worse . has a milky flakey look , so will have to buy a new spoilerI had followed the instructions and it looked fine then the next day it has changed to this , tried another coat and the same thing happened , looks like a poor paint job . Have sent remaining packs back to amazon usa what a pain .What a gem of a product. I used the heat gun method first which you can view on you tube. Once I'd brought the plastic back to factory original grade I wiped on the Cerakote. You can see by the photos she's looking brand new again. Very very happy.Short term it has really made a change to the land rovers grill and head light surrounds. Time will tell how it stands up but I used just two wipes to turn back 20 years of UV damageGreat product, 1 wipe was enough for all plastics on my duke 390 and they are like brand new now. If you can, do it outside and wear the gloves they include.I used this to treat the very faded black plastic wheel arch trims on my honda civic - the product is very easy to use, good instructions and works really well. Looks like new - turned my light grey faded plastic back to proper deep black.No signs of fading after a couple of weeks and a few washes. Looks like its going to last very well. I only used half of the wipes to do all 4 wheel arches plus the scuttle/ windscreen wiper panel so i have enough for another car or to re-apply in the future.
