I bought this because my Thor Tranquility has a propane stove and no cover. This cover is made for the stove and triples my kitchen work surface when not cooking. It has the shields that keep little hands or paws/noses from getting to close to the side of the burner as well. There is a seat right next to the stove so safety was a concern. To reduce rattling during transit, we put a towel on top of the burners and between the side shields, I had it installed by the RV repair that takes care of the van. Just two screws into the hard surface countertop.
