Overall I am very happy with this GE replacement part. It cost about 7x less than Sears Direct wanted for the same item, and it is a perfect fit for our gas range.Please note that the color, listed as "black," is actually a matte dark gray. The attached photos show the new GE part beside an original black cap of a different size -- new part on left, original on right.Other than the color mismatch, everything is exactly as I want it to be.The burner cap does not resist stains despite cleaning as indicated on the instructions.I really like the price of this replacement burner cap, especially since it is for the Large right from burner on my stovetop.Unfortunately, the finish is NOT SHINY, much more of a flat finish.Shipping was much slower than 2 day prime shipping, it was lost in transit for more than 2 weeks. I had to get a refund and then ended up purchasing from another source.I’m glad a previous reviewer noted that the specs listed on Amazon are incorrect. The “large” is actually 3.5 inches and was exactly what I needed. 4 prongs on back. Fits perfectly.Not real black ! More greyCheaper than any other vendor.
