There’s not a scratch on it. I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but it is as pictured.I bought this because of the ruffled edge to help improve the aesthetics and cooking of my homemade pie crusts. It not only helped with that, but it cooked everything quite evenly and beautifully inside. The pie came off the dish intact so clean up with warm soapy water was a breeze. I stored it in the freezer after cooling it at room temperature for several hours. At every turn, it has performed better than I expected.Not to mention, you’re getting form and function since it’s such a lovely looking dish that it truly can go from oven to table. It arrived in good shape. Because it’s quite a substantial (heavy) serving piece, it would make a wonderful gift along with a nice serving knife. I absolutely recommend itI ordered a white one, but it is more of a creamy white than bright white. I wanted a bright white, and it looks that way in the picture. I will keep it...it is still useful.Bought the discounted pale blue 'damaged package' version and the dish was superior to my expectations!..larger and so pretty. The photo doesn't do it justice. the blue is ombre and more of a dusty shade. Would make for a great gift. Have not tested the sturdiness yet but it looks pretty solid. Will updateI love my new pie dish! I had one in red and a different brand for a while and needed a second pie plate but could no longer get the red one. I finally found this blue one and it was the same size and shape but I wanted another color to match my kitchen and didn’t want to break the bank! Glad I found this one!Great dish for the price. Super sturdy - in fact, it was heavier than I thought it would be. I hate hand washing anything, so the fact that it is dishwasher safe is a plus. No chips or lost color after I ran it through the dishwasher. It’s also super cute which makes it great to use for parties.I love this pie plate! My coconut flour crust didn't stick when I made my Paleo pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. It's an absolutely gorgeous blue and very heavy. I just wish my Pyrex had come sooner because this one's made in China. That's my one issue but I really needed it.I just received this pie dish in a well padded package. It is beautiful and exactly as shown on amazon. Good weight, not too heavy or flimsy looking. The depth is perfect for pies. I intend to not only use it for baking pies, but also as a serving dish. Its so classy and lovely. Cant wait to use it.
