Se ajusta a cualquier tipo de filtroI bought a vintage galvanized steel Igloo cooler to use as a water dispenser in my kitchen. The spigot that was on the cooler was old and yucky and dripped so it needed to be replaced. The original spigot was also rather stubby; paired with the recess that the spigot was housed in, it was not exactly user friendly. I decided to try this spigot since it would stick out farther from the actual cooler body. I was VERY happy with how well it fit. Granted, the lever on top had to be rotated in order for it to fit properly, but it works amazingly well. It is also very easy to take the spigot apart and clean it when needed.I purchased this Faucet to make a Home made Berkey Filter for Emergency use for Hurricanes and anything else that might come up.I purchased two food grade 4 gallon buckets a plastic Faucet drilled a few holes not much to it. Washed the buckets out.The Faucet works just like it should work..Update 2/13/2017Almost one month. My family has stopped drinking Tea and now are drink water only. My wife and I marvel at the change.Update 2/21/2017 been using for a water filter for 30 days. one note is the Big Berkey only hold 3 gallons this holds 4 Gallons.I have an older glass sun tea jar which started leaking through the spigot. I got lucky because mine fit through the opening in the jar - and I have to say, the measuring of such things is difficult! It came with the needed gaskets, which are heavy and will last very well, and even instructions as to which way to place the beveled sides of them against the jar. I'm very pleased that I was able to keep my old jar - I'm a re-use, re-cycle, reduce person instead of replacing things - and glass jars are hard to find! This one does extend out farther from the jar than the old one did, which takes a little more room, but also makes it easier to use. The valve is strong and solid and there is not a drop escaping! Great purchase!Just for those who are wondering, the size of where it fits onto your item is about 1.75cm. The raised ridges (where the washers go, and the nut goes) are almost 2cm.I was trying to replace a faucet in a glass serving dispenser, and didn't know the size on this. It just barely fit into the hole, but because my original item the glass was not cut very well, and was alreay cracked a bit, I couldn't tighten the nut enough for it to work and not leak. THIS WAS NOT AN ISSUE WITH THIS PRODUCT, but with my OWN product!I am holding onto this lever in case I need to replace one in the future. Right now, I need to try and return my orignal glass crock since it was cracked and I couldn't see that since the orignal washers covered it up.Our counter top water crock's spout started leaking because of mineral deposits on the inside of the spout. The new spout was easy to install and actually had a gasket for the inside and outside of the crock. The original only had one gasket. Works great and we are very satisfied with this product.writting this review because it took me a lot of effort to find a simple thing like this! I have it for 2+ months now.recently i got a gravity filter that had the worst plastic faucet even conceived by man kind. It did not leaked, it simply ripped open!So, i got this one, after looking everywhere. To be honest i was looking for a stainless steel one, but they simply do not exist. The washer has a very clever and usefull design. the plastic seems good and sturdy.it's being used daily on my gravity filter which is the only source of water in the house, so gets used a lot, and holds 2+ gallons of water without leaking. even after you fill a glass, there's not even that last drop on the counter. Perfect.also, they write thank you notes on the receipt. How awesome is that?I used this to replace the original tap on a ceramic water dispenser with a five gallon water capacity. I accidentally lost one of the seals that originally came with it and nowhere around where I live sells them. I believe it would work perfectly with any ceramic dispensers regardless of manufacturer. Also, absolutely no leaking!Used this to replace broken dispenser on water crock pot.
