I like the compact size of the range. The energy savings are one of the most appreciated features. The safety feature turning off the range when a considerable amount of time elapsed is magnificent. The worst thing is to remind the users to find the right cookware, based in iron or steel, not aluminum nor stainless steel.Please check with a licensed and insured electrician so that your installation meets your state / local building codes when wiring this induction cooktop.We purchased this countertop induction since it was difficult to obtain a resonably priced oven range that had convection oven and induction range for under $1000. With the pandemic certain models are out of stock so we purchased a $500 oven with convection using my employee discount and this induction countertop 2 burners on amazon.Our circuit was 240 volts with the four wires or 3/1 which is Black, Red, White, and bare copper ground. We wired this countertop using these instructions:For connection to a junction box without the use of a 220V plug:1. Connect the hot wire (L) from the unit to the Black wire in the circuit box(in junction box), and the neutral wire (N) from the unit to the Red wirefrom the circuit box (in junction box).2. Connect the ground wire (E) from the unit to the white wire from the circuitbox (in junction box).3. Fasten the ground wire coming in from the circuit box (in junction box) tothe ground lead on the junction box.4. The Hot and Neutral wires from the electric/induction unit are used as bothHot lines and must be connected with the two Hot lines from the circuit box - the Black and the Red lines.This configurations worked out awesome with our countertop next to our stove. I made sure to draw and cut hole as big as dimensions, and fits great. Had to shim it a little bit wasn’t hard at all. Love the child lock knob to prevent kids or young teens from accidental burns.Stove works great for a few months now, buttons are easily accessible and work well, and heats up fast, they can boil water so much faster with the induction compatible pots and fry pans versus our range elements.Item did not work out of the box and did not know it until it was installed a few months later. Supplier eventually replaced the Karinear Dual Burner Induction Cooktop at no cost to me. Glad to have resolution.I am a paraplegic who loves to cook, but my wife struggled with the idea of lowering the stove 6 inches permanently. Settled on installing two of these induction tops into an adjustable workbench so we can both enjoy the kitchen. Install was a breeze. Had an electrician wire in a pair of 240v plugs and away we go. No fire means a safer experience for everyone involved. Large burner can in fact boil an inch of water in my largest pot in about a minute. Good stuff. Cooked a pot of popcorn on power level 6. Once it starter I turned it to 5 and came out perfect. Replaced the oven with a 32qt air fryer and picked up a set of Cooks Choice pots and pans all from Amazon.Works greatIt is working wonderfully!You hv to get a converter which cost more than the unitMost likely it’s good but not for USA with 110Will consider it again if it would be 110Thank youZiaFriends, I am searching for a 4 Burner Induction drop in to replace my 4 gas burners. I have read quite a few reviews for different induction models, and it seems that many people are confused about the wiring. These 4 Burner Induction drop ins are NOT 110 volts, like a regular duplex wall outlet with 3-prong "Edison" plugs. They need to be wired to a 220 circuit in your breaker box. It's easy to do, though PLEASE do not try and do this yourself, unless you know what you are doing with electrical wiring! Hire an electrician, it won't cost you that much for an electrician to run the wire to the breaker box, and install a 220 breaker, unless you don't have fairly close, or easy access to your breaker box!The hot plate looks good and works well for now, but:1. It came without a plug2. It is not UL certified.3. It does not meet North American electric codes as is missing a ground connection.4. The fan is quite noisy.
