I had hi hope on writing a five star review. But I cannot because I do not have another brand to compare it too. It is so simple to use, select your temperature or you can the watts. The one thing that I do not understand is the pre-set.But other then that I like. The unit is pretty quite and the fan is not loud. The only make a strange sound is when I use my Tool of The Trade cookware, but never no noise when I use cast iron, tea pot or my Anolon cookware. I guess there the way the bottom made I really don't but it work.It work with a variety of pan size from small as a cd too a large one the size of a album it all work well. The unit is so easy to clean and unlike gas it does not heat up the kitchen big relief for summer time cooking.So said it simply I like and do not feel bad about recommending it. Thank for reading RRDraws 84 watts turned off, yes indeed, unplug it when you are not using it. Amazing how fast it heats things. The warms setting boils water so that function will not get used. The 140 degree setting cycles between 160 and 130 which is fine for a warm setting. I just used a magnet to check my cookware and found about half of my stainless cookware was unusable. Good excuse to buy more.I love this portable burner but having to use only certain cookware is a disappointment. The burner works great though.Works well, but I have issues with the temperature control.I have a stateliness steel pot (exactly 8") on the cooker, but it still automatically turn off in 10 seconds, seems like it cant detect my cookware. (it said should work for stainless steel). Please help me out, because no one answering the customer service hotline.... :(It is very good for hotpot，very easy for cleaning.
